On January 3, 2025, the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic signed a Concession Agreement with SD Vietnam Investment Construction Joint Stock Company for the licensing and development of the Savan 1 Wind Power Plant with a capacity of 495MW in Phin District, Savannakhet Province.
